When it comes to voting, one of the most mind-blowing facts I heard is that people in my age category (18-35), a.k.a. millenials, make up the largest group of potential voters, yet we have the lowest voting turn out! Meaning most of aren't voting like we should be!
Whoa.
We are one of the luckiest countries in the world because we have a government system that recognizes our freedoms and gives us the right to VOTE!
I have traveled all over the globe, and let me tell you there are people that would do anything to trade places with you, to have a say, to be a part of the Unites States of America!! So we need to take advantage of this beautiful gift we have, because we are the future of this country, we are adulting, and it's time we take part and have our say.
"But I'm just one voice, what does my vote matter?" you might ask... One way to look at this point is by taking it to the extreme: what if everyone didn't vote? Ask yourself what would happen... Your voice does matter, because your vote is counted, and not only that, but you set an example for those around you by voting, and you create a ripple effect by them seeing you vote!
"How do I vote in the U.S.?" So, if you type that into Google, you will be able to select your state, and you'll get instructions!
"I don't know who to pick!" I totally get this! That being said, nothing in this world is exactly 50/50 so even if you lean 0.001% more toward a particular candidate, that's the one you should choose!
Bottomline, voting is COOL. And you are cool. So let's vote!
With all this in mind, and in the spirit of voting, I found several small businesses that are making awesome VOTE merchandise! It's a fun way to encourage others to vote while feeling patriotic doing it, and you're helping small businesses which is super cool.
Although I think this is pretty obvious, I must add that I do not share the political views of any of the stores involved. I am an independent woman who creates her own points of view and opinions - none of which will be affected from this unbiased blog post.

A recent wave of multicolored fashion and decor has been appearing left and right these last few years and even more so in 2020! I am totally here for this kaleidoscope of color! I swear, the days I wear rainbow I just feel happier! It's psychology 101 (just kidding - that is not valid at all - I am not a doctor).
Aside from the bright, eye-catching colors, this store got my attention because of how cool they made having a voice look! Their items are super loud, but in the best of ways!
Although a majority of their items are political and may not line up with your views - I think anyone could find something they'd want to take home!

Keychains are such a fun way to personalize and represent things you love and enjoy! I found this clear, acrylic VOTE keychain and thought it would not only look great alone but also pair nicely with any other of my keychains (if you're into turning your car keys into a free weight like me).
This store has a wide assortment of items to browse through. You can find anything from custom digital illustrations, custom acrylic signs, stickers, and more!

These gorgeous hoop VOTE earrings come in both silver and gold! Since I am fully on the gold trend right now I had to see the quality they came in, and I was pleasantly surprised! They looked even more gorgeous in person! Although I will be rocking these with my full out VOTE merch, I love that these can go with any outfit and be a subtle and stylish reminder to vote! You can even pick up a matching necklace! Aside from the VOTE jewelry, this store carries a lot of unique and abstract jewelry pieces! With so many options, you could spend hours browsing her online store!

First of all, how cute is this shop name?! I am a rose gold advocate and the fact she has built a store around rose gold goodness is just giving me all the vibes! This shop not only carries candles with the most cheeky sayings, but it also carries trendy face masks, notebooks, and iPhone app themes!

This store makes me feel like a kid again! I am a sucker for hair accessories and their resin custom hair pieces bring me deep joy! Their store is full of custom resin items like jewelry trays, coasters, and earrings; but when it comes to their clips, I want them all! They have something for every occasion! Like their HOCUS POCUS set - UGHHHH - they are everything!

VOTE NAIL DECALS from Risa's Pieces
Yes, we're getting patriotic all the way down to the nail details! I've been super into giving myself my own gel manicures from home, not only does it save tons of money, but it's super convenient! The only thing that made nail salons still appeal to me was when I wanted to get a cute design (as I am super terrible at doing designs on myself). That is when I came across Risa's Pieces shop that has all sorts of styles and themes to choose from! You can even visit her Instagram for tutorials and tips!

As I'm sure you can imagine there are LOTS of VOTE merch tee brands out there, but this store really stood out to me because of how many styles and cuts they carried! Normal tees, v necks, cropped tees, hoodies, tanks, baby clothes - you name it, she has it! She also carries buttons, mugs, magnets - pretty much anything you can print a powerful cause on, she has it in her store!
There is so much goodness to support here: small business, black owned business, and a female run business! So much respect! <3
