DAY 1
ð–¡¡ Starfield Library
Discover a picturesque two-story library within a bustling mall, boasting over 50,000 books, workspaces, and three charming coffee shops. Best of all, entry is completely free, welcoming all book lovers, learners, and daydreamers.
A quick pit stop awaits you, and though not an official attraction, it's a lively decoration right outside a shopping center, paying homage to the iconic hit song "Gangnam Style"!
ð–¡¡ Lotte World Mall
At this point, you have the perfect opportunity to book your appointment for the next item on your agenda. And while you're here, why not take some time to explore the surroundings? South Korea is renowned for its virtual merchandising, so even if you aren't in the mood for shopping, the stores offer a fascinating setup worth experiencing!
Linked to the mall is ð–¡¡ Lotte World which consists of a large indoor theme park, an outdoor amusement park called "Magic Island" and an artificial island on a lake.
ð–¡¡ Lotte World Tower
Among all the viewing towers I've visited around the world, this one easily tops my list of favorites! Surprisingly, we decided to visit on a Friday afternoon on a whim, and to our delight, there was no line. This spontaneous choice turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences during my time in Seoul! Without a doubt, I highly recommend adding this to your itinerary too. You won't be disappointed!

DAY 2
𖡡 Flippers (Soufflé pancakes)
I hadn't initially planned to include restaurants in the itinerary, but I simply can't resist making an exception for this one. These pancakes were, without a doubt, the most delicious I've ever tasted! Moreover, the restaurant is nestled in an adorable shopping and bakery district called ð–¡¡ Ikseondong Hanok Village, making it the perfect place to kickstart the day with a delightful stroll.
ð–¡¡ Gwangjang Market
Experience the vibrant atmosphere of a bustling shopping area, where an extensive selection of traditional food items, clothing, and souvenirs await to delight your senses.
ð–¡¡ Nuldam Space - Gyeongbok Palace branch
Unleashing a wave of viral buzz on social media, this coffee shop is renowned for its enchanting time capsule letters. Here, you can pen heartfelt messages to yourself or a beloved companion, setting a date for its delivery exactly one year ahead. While immersed in this heartwarming experience, savor the pleasure of unique and delectable coffee blends, complemented by delightful baked goods. With three inviting stories to relax or work in, and a breathtaking rooftop view, the setting is perfect for unwinding and creating unforgettable memories.
Watch a 15 seconds recap here.
Nestled within the heart of Seoul, Bukchon Hanok Village stands as a living testament to Korea's rich history, with roots dating back nearly 600 years to the revered Joseon Dynasty. This historic village is renowned for its charming hanok, the traditional Korean houses that showcase the country's architectural heritage and cultural legacy.
ð–¡¡ Gyeongbokgung Palace
This exquisite palace offers a stunning backdrop of picturesque mountains, creating the perfect setting for capturing beautiful photos. Even the free section of the palace grounds is worth exploring, but for a small fee (approximately 6,000 WON from memory), you can unlock entry to the next enchanting part of the palace grounds—a truly worthwhile experience.
ð–¡¡ Cheonggyecheon
For decades, Cheonggyecheon Stream lay concealed beneath a highway overpass, hidden from view in downtown Seoul. However, the city decided to revitalize its urban landscape and breathed new life into the area using its own resources. Now, the 11 km-long Cheonggyecheon Stream meanders through the heart of the city, creating a picturesque oasis for locals and visitors alike.
Accompanied by our local friends who reassured us of the city's safety, we strolled along the stream at 10 pm. Witnessing numerous locals enjoying the area added to its allure. Although we plan to visit during daylight on our next trip, the beauty of this spot was undeniable, leaving us captivated by its charm.
DAY 3
ð–¡¡ Greem Cafe
In Hongdae lies a coffee shop that defies all expectations. Step through its doors, and you'll be instantly transported into a mesmerizing two-dimensional world, drawing inspiration from a popular Korean animated series. The shop’s name, Greem, comes from a Korean word which can mean a cartoon or a painting; it is also sometimes called Café Yeonnam-Dong 223-14, which is simply the café’s street address.
A bustling and vibrant haven for shoppers in Seoul. Amidst the lively atmosphere, we discovered delightful fashion finds and irresistible skincare sales along this lively strip. Don't miss the chance to strike a pose in the photobooths scattered every few stores, available 24/7 for capturing unforgettable moments!
